The philosophy of Naturopathy is to treat the whole person, not just the ailment.
Naturopathy is not about the practitioner “curing” you. It is about offering you advice, guidance and support as you follow a complete program designed to activate your body’s own healing capacity.
During your treatment, the goal is to restore you to good health using a program designed for your particular needs – that may use herbal medicine, healing diets, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle changes and/or detoxification programs.
The focus of my work as a Naturopath is to help you to understand your own unique body/mind, and to adopt lifestyle practices that are right for you, and that will help you to enjoy good health and longevity for years to come.
While supplements, herbs and healing diets are wonderful aids in the healing process, it is what you do every day and over time that makes the biggest difference!

Nutrition/Healing Diets

Specialised healing diets and where necessary, nutritional supplements, are often used to help you on your healing path. These are suggested based on your history, symptoms and any tests results obtained.
I place strong emphasis on improving your body pH balance – which is the balance of acid and alkaline in your body.
Body pH can be evaluated using samples of your urine and saliva, and by looking at certain blood indicators. A detailed questionnaire about your dietary intake and lifestyle will also be used.
Body pH is often considered to the the foundation of good health. It is my firm belief, after 24 years of clinical practice, that there are few health conditions that do not improve as a result of returning the body to an alkaline state.
When your body is alkaline, your cells get more oxygen, you have more energy, you age less quickly, you suffer less from pain and inflammation and your mood is brighter. Take steps to become more alkaline!
